Web browser support

Please, please, use any browser except IE; Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera. They're all free, easy to install, and easy to use. If only one browser, I would recommend Firefox. You can import your bookmarks directly from IE into Firefox.

Join

Obtaining a user account is easy. Click on 'Create new account' at the upper right corner of any page. Enter a user name, an email address, and type the requested text string into reCaptcha. That's it. I will not share your email address. You'll receive an email with your password. You can then log in and will be directed to enter a new password.

I would appreciate your obtaining an account. It's nice to know who's here, and over time I will add privileges for account holders.

You may of course choose to remain an anonymous guest. You will have full access to content and will be able to comment. However an administrator (me) will need to review your comments before they are posted.

Kayak Instructional Videos

The videos are in early development. They're a just-do-it style, to explore the equipment and technologies involved in producing videos. I intend to maintain the natural, conversational style, but will make the videos much more complete and polished later. It will probably take until May to get all set up, and then I will hopefully start to crank out one or two a month.
